Just listened to a voicemail message left by this number. My voicemail started recording in the middle of the message so the first thing I heard was "the local cops"... REALLY? IRS agents wouldn't talk like that, nor would it be a computer generated message. I cannot believe that anyone could really fall for this! The IRS doesn't call you on the telephone, they send you a letter!
Very threatening un-educated caller saying I would go to jail if I don't turn my self in right away for "serious allegations of fraud" found by the "something or other" dept of the IRS. Additionally, he claimed the deficiencies found were from a random audit of 2008 - 2012 years; The IRS doesn't wait that long to audit someone that I'm aware of. His "name" (he said) was Alex Williams (probably false). Was going to sit on phone for the afternoon to confirm w/ IRS this was a scam until I found this. Then he cussed me out when I had pulled over & still couldn't understand him so had to request to speak to someone I could understand. I don't think the IRS allows their agents to "F-u, M-Fr" in their offices...
