Got a call from this number claiming to be IRS and there is a warrant out for my arrest. Got the same call from a different # yesterday that I sent to blocked calls.
Received call from this number last evening, calming to by from IRS and that there was a warrant out for my arrest for tax related purposes. Caller gave the name of John Camp with a Federal ID #JK107411. He also stated a case number for me. When I told him I thought it was a scam and to send me the information in the mail he said that they would send officers to immediately arrest me. I told him to go ahead and I'd be waiting patiently for them with a deputy sheriff from our local area to review their arrest warrant. The call was dropped.
I received a call too 10 minutes ago. I called them back. Asked for a formal letter without giving any of my personal info. Said that the letter had been sent already. He hang-up. Should we talk to someone at the IRS letting them know this is happening right now?
