Was in a car accident. About a week later, this company called to set up Chiro and medical appointments for my injuries. Problem is, I was in a single car accident with no injuries, and my insurance company knows that.. Either they were trying to poach customers for their chiro (my injury was not even Chiro related, they were guessing) or were fishing for personal info for some other nefarious purpose.
I told them to call my insurance company and they can go through them. My only mistake was mentioning the name of my insurance company, but I doubt it will matter. Still, I never like to give anyone information they don't need to know about me.
They just called my husband and asked the same thing. He was so confused because in his accident the other person had no insurance and knew it wasnt our insurance calling he gave vague replies then hung up. So weird. People out looking to take advantage of accidents.
Also received call after recent car accident. Did not leave message Googled phone #, they have called 2x and I got another call from a different number, all in a half hour that seems to have the same M O.
