Name unavailable. A woman's voice said something about the IRS. Definitely plugged in the word IRS compared to the rest of the message. This was the number that was given that I was supposed to call. The number that came up on my phone was 857-820-5611. The call came at 10 minutes to 8 AM.
Received the same call. With all the scamming out there, why would you call back for something so suspicious? Now they have a phone number for someone who would be tricked into even returning a call like this (hopefully your # is not in a scammers database now). Be smart and stop calling these scammers back or they will peg you as someone that might be fooled. BTW, if you owed $ to the IRS (or anyone else) you would have gotten a formal letter mailed to you (even then you have to be careful). Happy holidays!
