I didn't stick around to find out who it was. It was a recorded message by a booming male voice starting out.. "IF YOU ARE A SENIOR CITIZEN, YOU MUST........." then I hung up.
It's too bad the phone companies can't do something about the volume of calls put out by these so-called telemarketers. Unfortunately, like the post office and their bulk mail, the phone companies probably make billions off these scammers.. which means, ultimately, they make billions off the poor suckers who are duped by the scammers.. us. I get about 10 calls per month from these a$$es. More than I get personal calls. Something wrong with this picture. Soon, our phones will be constantly ringing with these mo fos. The Do-Not-Call List needs some teeth!
I get a call from 253-218-4323 on a daily basis. I've tried pressing "1" to get a live person but the call disconnects. Believe it or not I'm on the federal do not call list and I don't see how these companies can continue to harass those of us who do not want their calls. As a poster stated if the do not call list was monitoring these companies they wouldn't continue. All who get a call from these law breakers should report them to the do not call and let's see how much teeth it has.
