Received a call from these idiots and I decided to put them on the hot foot. Told them we knew all about their operation and threatened them with the usual law suit even told them where they are from. This woman's name is Ellen from Credit Services in New Jersey. They had been calling previously but the person they wanted isn't at my number and I didn't care. Maybe the Attorney General's Office in each State including New Jersey should be contacted.
Just got the same call as all have reported above, ID shows Trikon 253-236-2020. Horrific communication. I caught a word here and there in male's very heavy accented voice. and then a period of silence. Then he says "can you hear me?" "I can hear you -- say something. What do you want?" Very annoying. Got a word here and there about I had a computer problem - Internet - surfing -- problem again -- I said my computer doesn't have a problem. Then more unintelligible words. He finally hung up. Sounds like one bored human being. Must be up to some kind of mischief.
I got the same call from 253 236 2020. I am from India and could make out from the accent that the caller is from India. It smelled of a scam from the very beginning. The guy even knew my name and said my computer was infected with "germs" becos my antivirus was "...not from Microsoft or Windows" and installed "...by a local technician" (wrong !). I asked him that since he had so much info about me could he please let me know my own computer's IP address or the IP address of the server that my computer was infecting or the name of the internet provider I was using ..the guy knew nothing and realised that i was on to him. So he started cursing in an Indian language that I understood. I let him have an earful of the same and hung up. Shortly thereafter I got a call from the other number 360 633 9006...and the whole thing was repeated.
Obviously this is a scare scam. Please do not waste time talking to them and definitely do not share any credit card details. I feel really bad that [***]#@!#$ like these are giving the rest of us a bad name.
