I get about 10 phone calls a day from this phone number (253-236-2343) they start calling about 8 in the morning and call several times a day untill about 10 at night. They never leave a message and I don't know any one in WA.
These "people" call repeatedly unti they reach someone, are very rude, and very difficult to understand. They have very thick Indian accents and have names like "John" and "Anthony" even though they're clearly not from the United States. I spoke to an "Anthony Johnson" who said he would be my loan manager and could help me apply for one of their loans and receive anywhere from $ 1,000 to $3,000. To continue the process, you have to go to a Walgreens or CVS to purchase a Green Dot Money Pak card. They want you to put down at least 10% of the amount you want for the loan on the card so they can make sure you can make monthly payments.
The amount of money you spend has to be on the Money Pak card for at least ten minutes. They want you to give them the 14 digit number on the back of the card while they verify everything on the Green Dot website. They will then tell you that your requested loan will be in your checking account within 45 minutes and that they'll call you back to verify everything. They won't call you back, so you have to contact them regarding your loan. When you do call the number back to speak to your "loan manager", they'll say he had to leave and that they'll tell you need to speak to a "Jack Slater" who works with the FTC. He's the one who said that you owe money for your state taxes even after you tell them you received a refund. Once you pay for your state taxes, you can then receive the money. When you ask to speak to this person, you're told he's out of state but he'll be in the same call center even though it's a different phone number (401 380-6800). When you call the number back to leave a voicemail, you will hear "Magic Jack" in the message. You also hear Magic Jack in the message when you call the main number.
After you dispute that you owe any money to the state, they'll disconnect the call since they can only communicate if they have a script. Once you call back and reach someone after several attempts, the next person will tell you that you owe money on your student loans even though you don't have any. They start yelling at you when you call them out on their scam and they disconnect the call. BEWARE!!!!!
