Got a call this morning, when I picked up the phone their was a computer voice in the middle of the message which I didn't catch...we have a no solicter block on our phone that ask's all caller's to leave their phone# so the whenever there is a computer call, it thinks that someone has answered so it's always in the middle of their message. If they really want to talk to me or someone then they need to send something thru the mail but we all know that this is another scam collector so therefore the 253# is probably a fake #.....STOP CALLING PEOPLE AND SCARING THEM!!!
They left a message but the Caller ID said "unknown" & they didn't identify themselves {unless my machine cut off the first part of the message}. Message was computerized, & mentioned pressing "1" for the "pre-legal" department. My guess is it's another collection scam.
Got yet another call from these people...couldn't tell if it was a computerized voice, but didn't sound like it...if it was they'd have to be morons since the only thing that came through was the tail end of the message saying that my failure to contact them would result in "decisions being made without my knowledge...message constitutes final attempt to contact me, etc."
I have no idea who these people are, & wouldn't respond to threats if they had been smart enough to identify themselves any one of the dozens of times they've called, anyway.
I'd like to think they'd eventually learn that people are becoming increasingly aware of this type of scam, & will only respond to legal correspondence...unfortunately, threats still work on some people, so this slimy scum continues to hurt others for their own benefit.
