I had the same 'walmart' experience described above. Call came up as unavailable and this is the number they gave me to 'call back'. Definitely a scam!
My cell phone gets about one call per day from this number. It is some pharmaceutical scam. I have repeatedly told them to put me on their do not call list, to no avail.
Some oriental, going under the name of Alex, offered to sell me some medicine, but I couldn't understand him well enough to know what it was he was trying to sell.
Anyway, I told him I had another call coming in, and I'd call him back. He gave me this number. I did call back about 5 minutes later, and I got "Alex", so I know he was/is using this number.
This is the number they gave me as my cell phone only said "Unknown Caller". (253-242-2597) They claimed to be with Wal-Mart and said they were going to credit my account $1029.00 in taxes that I've paid by shopping there for the past few years. They then requested my 16 digit credit card number and expiration date. I THINK NOT!
Oh yeah, they also claimed I had won a two or three day all inclusive paid trip to any exotic destination in the US as well as a Wal-Mart card that would give me 40% off all my Wal-Mart purchases.
