They claim they are based in california at first but when questioned about area code difference now they are based in tacoma, washington i said well let me get the number to theyour agency in california he said we cant give that information out lol i was cracking up
Got a voicemail from a man with a very thick Indian accent claiming to be from the "U.S. Legal Dep't." and using an American name "Officer Mark Keller." Yeah, right! These guys are SCAM Artists. DO NOT COMPLY with thier demands. Report these guys to ic3.gov, FBI, etc ..
just got a call from them too--- at my work. looks like they are new or using a new number- i alread filed a complaint on one similar to this scam. they say they are from legal because i didn't pay back some loans- however i have paid them back. i told the guy do not call this number again and i let him know that i would be filing a complaint with the FCC and such. SCAM
So I received a call from this number but I didn't answer it because I don't answer to strange area codes. They then called my job, my boss answered and said a man named "Mark Taylor" from "American Legal" with a very thick Indian accent, hard to understand. He told them to call my personal phone, which they had already done. But I may know how my number was fished, by me stupidly looking for quick loans online. It's sad that people hired to do American scams are now outsourced.
