I got the same call and got the green dot card, input on the 210 dollars and called back amy williams. I got 7210 dollars on my card 15 minutes later. I am sooo happy. I bought a pony and a mustang and an ice cream cone.
No one got any money. It is ILLEGAL to demand upfront payments for loans, grants, or prizes. Please read "Slim"s" comments above^^^. There is a very good chance the callers are in India, Pakistan or some other mud hole.
Called my husband claiming government was going to give him 7000 dollars. I actually thought it was funny considering the government is so in debt. They said call 2532451978.
I agree with i wasnt born this morning. They told me i had to pay$250 up front. When if thats the case if the $7,000 is real i wont complain to take whats left after $250 is took out.$6,750 would be still all good with me.
i got a call from these same people they told me they were from the federal govrment and i had been selected to a federal tax stemulant check that because of my history and good about paying my tax on time i was the few that had the had the chance to collect 7,000 dollors but i would have to go to a right-aid and buy a $4.95 green dot money tak load it with $200.30 just so they could regerstar me in this money i would get back in 5-10 min would be back on my card along with the 7,000 and i needed to go to a grants supermarket so they could wire it to me through western union! i was very excited and emotional because nothing this good has ever happend to me i have been praying for god to let a merical happen in my life and to be caught up on bills and i dont even have a car so that money would have been put to use, me and my husband struggle with 4 kids and 1 car that breaks down all the time he needs the car for work and that leaves me home alone with the kids and when something major happens i have to depend on 911 to come and get us, when i got this call it was like god answering my prayers and a great burden been lifted but when the man asked for the green dot card i told him i was broke and all i have are a few pennys in my purse he was wanting to know if i could barrow money and this is a once in a life time chance its now or never, i felt like i had to come up with that money quick but he said well i will give you untill tomarrow to come up with the money or you will be knocked off our list, i was heart broken i was crying he was not of the usa he didnt talk english and with the name he gave me that is what made me question he said his name was mark henery and i could not tell anyone about this because they would try to come up with a fake id pretending to be me go to grants super market and they would get the money wired to them , that just didnt seem right, so i done some research and i couldnt find anything leading up to them i called my local police department, and talked to a lady their who her mother was scamed by the same people, ill be honest i didnt want to hear this was a scam but after i got off the phone with her i typed in the scam number and this web site had shown up and like many of you i had the phone call and i know now god was just looking out for us all praise god. my husband is still at work i will tell him all this when he gets home and maybe he can put a block on our phone so this dont happen again im not as mad as i am hurt, i though for sure my prayers were answerd but god has other plans to bless me and i have enough sence to listen to god and not fall for anymore telephone scams.
