Also got call at 5:24pm eastern time. Caller Id:CNMRKRS....TELEMARKETERS? Any whooo, we screen unknown calls and if no message we don't pick up. Also adult daughter moved in with us and have paid some of her bills to keep her credit clear but she keeps racking them up so we cut her off....so unappreciative. We suspect the calls are for her though she lives here part time, that too will end soon.

I keep getting calls from this number. It is a public opinion survey for a chance to win cruise tickets. I have called back and done the automated opt out but they still call. It next to impossible to get a person on the line but I somehow did and explained that I no longer wanted called they told me to hang on and stay on the line and they hung up on me. I just want them to stop calling!

1.You may file a complaint if you received an unwanted call after your number was on the National Registry for 31 days.

2.You may also file a complaint if you received a call that used a recorded message instead of a live person (whether or not your number was on the Registry).

*Reminder:Even if your number is registered, charities, political organizations, and telephone surveyors may continue to call you. Companies with which you do business may also continue to call, unless you have asked them to stop calling you. Also, they are attempting to get around the rules by claiming the call is for a survey, however the fact that the intent is to gather your information for a prize negates that.  Also, the no live person thing.

Yeah, I guess it's the Cruise Line scam. They're not leaving messages now. They used to leave messages three or four times a week, complete with hooting horns (to sound like a ship, I guess), that were quite long and clogged up my phone line for almost 60 seconds! What if I had an emergency call to make, 911, say? I wouldn't be able to make that call until this idiot autocall thing finished using my line. Try using your phone line sometime during when they call, thinking you can disconnect the call prematurely (after all, it's your line, right?)  so you can dial out. You can't do it. You have to wait for them to finish using your line! Why isn't this illegal? How many people can't use 911 services when they need to (when seconds can be crucial) and these idiot calls are clogging up their line? Somebody's breaking into my house, or someone's having a heart attack, but I can't call 911 right away because of this telemarketer garbage? Insane.
