DO NOT even answer these calls...once you answer to say remove me from your list they have a confirmation that it's a working number and THEY KEEP CALLING!! From different numbers too. I made the mistake of trying to tell someone to remove me from the list (I'm on the DNC registry too) and all they do is hang up on you. I've been getting these calls for almost 3 months now and have no idea how to stop them because I've confirmed they are reaching a working number...if anyone has had success in stopping the calls PLEASE post it!!
Called my cell phone a few times too. Didn't answer and never leaves a message.
I've also gotten them on my home phone. Recorded message about "my card" and lowering my rates. Never mention what card, or what bank it's issued from. Obviously a scam.
Called, left no message... Called it back says its the do not call registry... my a$$... I'm already on the do not call list, and this is asking me to sign up...
Called several times. These are criminal scammers, most likely calling from a prepaid phone and therefore nearly impossible to trace and prosecute if reported. Unlike most legitimate companies, the Do Not Call list doesn't scare them off. It's best not to answer and confirm that you have a number worth their time.
