These jokers, and others, call my office 2 or 3 times per week. The Do Not Call List only provides limited protection from telemarketers and nuisance calls. The Do Not Call List is for residential customers, and not applicable to businesses. (That is, if your cell phone is in the name of a company, then you don't have protection.) In addition, there are exceptions that allow nuisance calls to residences as well (surveys, non-profits, etc.)

I SIMPLY PRESSED THE "BLOCK" BUTTON ON MY UNIDEN PHONE - I DID NOT EVEN ANSWER THE CALL. THEY WILL FOREVER BE BLOCKED AND I WILL NOT BE DISTURBED. IF THEY DO CALL BACK, MY UNIDEN PHONE WILL NOT EVEN RING. SO NICE!!!!

FACT 5 - no "class action" law suits are being filed and certainly, none are being LITIGATED.

Call blocking phones are very inexpensive $40-$60 and they come with, at least, one wireless handset. Very, very convenient.

Uniden and Panasonic make CALL BLOCKING telephones. They’re cheap - $40-$60 and they usually come with a 2nd wireless handset. COSTCO & AMAZON SELL THEM.
They work beautifully! These phones also block
“PRIVATE,” “OUT OF AREA” and "UNKNOWN" calls!!!
I have had the same home number and the same business phone number for over 15 years and my home and my business lines (both published) seem to be on every call list imaginable. I bought a Panasonic call blocking phone for my home and I bought a Uniden call blocking telephone for my business.
NO MORE PROBLEMS WITH TELEMARKETERS. THEY CAN’T GET THROUGH!
We can stop these telemarketers IF we all buy a call blocking phone.
I received a call from this number this morning at 10:30am on my personal cell phone. I was on another call and couldn't get to it in time. I called the number back and I got a voice mail box that said "This number is forwarded to the wrong company". I have been receiving a lot of "Get out of debt" calls in the past few months which is funny because we are totally debt free and have no credit cards, so I guess I made a list somewhere of someone who is a good candidate for loans and credit cards, you wouldn't believe the amount of mail we receive, we just shred and compost it all.
In reading about call blocking phones, I would find them useful, but in order to keep the bills low, we had our expensive landlines disconnected years ago when our cell phone became cheaper than the monthly landline charge. My cell phone doesn't have a call blocking feature, So I have created a contact in my cell phone phonebook named "Do Not Answer" and I tagged it with a special silent ring tone. So when they call for the first time I just save the number to that contact and the next time they call from that number my phone doesn't even ring. Sometimes it's a recording and it rolls over to voice mail after 6 rings or so and part of it will be left as a voice mail, I just delete those.
I found out years ago that the whole Do Not Call List is a big joke, I had every one of our phones on every state's Do Not Call List and the National List also, but I never got a decrease in calls and I did renew it every year. I have even gone as far as reporting the numbers to the PUC (Public Utility Commission), They didn't even respond. I agree with the other guy who said "Don't Be A Victim - Be Pro-Active".
In the future, as the consumer demands it, most phones (cell phones included) will have a feature where you can block a phone number just like you can an email address or domain on your computer.
