they keep calling me. trying to ask me about my mortgage. i have politely asked them to stop calling. fell on deaf ears so now they get the mouth. if u try to call them back call will not go thru.
This is Bill Me Later. Calling from Washington. Just put the # into Whitepages.com and it will give you the city.
Oh, and you can always remind the caller of the FEDERAL law about collections. It's called the Fair Debt Collections Practices Act and that you will turn them in.
It's definitely linked to BillMeLater but I think they outsource their collections portion to another company that seems to have weird practices. Initially, they used 888-693-1045 and left a message on my work phone in the middle of the night. The next night, they used 253-248-6407 and called me 5 times at night at work... when I'm NOT working.
I can understand bill collectors calling people who don't pay thier bills. However, I pay my bills and even if there is a mix up, instead of not talking when they call they need to speak so things can get clarified. It is called harassment to call 15 times in a day and say nothing. I reported them to my phone company as a prank caller that is harassing me. Next step will be my lawyer suing them for harassment.
I don't like the fact that they don't call and leave a message. Then they call numerous times during the day. It really is irritating. I don't want to have to turn my cell phone off at work, but if this continues I have to! Why are they inconveniencing me?
