Automated message stating that they were the IRS & sueing me & this is their final attempt. The IRS Has 800 numbers not numbers based out of Washington. I reported them to the FTC.
Two calls within the hour....253-292-3089...Critical message from the IRS...call immediately. I called back the 2nd time...he could barely speak English...I played along-his name was Jeff Johnson...after asking him to repeat many times, I told him the IRS doesn't call on the phone, & that they would'nt hire him. I then told him that he should check out who he's calling-that I was an attorney, had all the info I needed, & he better never call this # again. He replied "F-U" and I hung up!!!
Same number, same scam. IRS will not only call, but before they call they will send at least 2 letters detailing your situation and provide you with their contact number. IRS calls are a last resort.
2 calls in one day. Said IRS filing a lawsuit. Didn't even give a name of person they were leaving the message for. Recording said to call 253-292-3089. I called to tell them they had the wrong number, but got a fast busy.
