Asian lady with heavy accent said there was a case pending with the I.R.S and we owed $4000, due to audit from 2008 to present day. She claimed we had been notified by mail 3 times since 2012. She said the local sheriff would come to arrest me, but what did I want to do about it. This is obviously a phishing scam to get financial info.
A lady called and said I owed taxes back from 2008- now and that they were 3800.00 she asked me my address and I told her if she was irs she would know what my address was I think when I told them that they knew they weren't getting any money from me. Jokes on them I reported them to state attorney's office in Florida and irs
