I just received a call from these people. I called back and told them to stop playing on my phone. They stated " playing like [***]", and then hung the phone up. I'm passed off! I could hear someone in the background say" did you hang up the phone"? THEN CAN CALL ME AGAIN IF THEY WANT TO. I HAVE SOMETHING WORDS FOR THEM!
This is a scam company. Identifies themselves as audit company for IRS and tells you they have investigated and found you willfully committed fraud against IRS and a warrant is being issued to arrest you by your local sheriff. THIS IS A TOTAL SCAM. I verified with the IRS that this is a total scam.
I just got the same call from the same number. I didn't verify with the irs but did cally attorney and he said that it was fraud. I pray no one falls for this!! I wish there was something I could do!
This is a scam for sure. They identified them selves as the IRS fraud department. Saying they had to speak to me immediately regarding a fraudulent claim. Per the IRS this is a scam.
