Called and said you won a gift, not trying to sell you anything, but a way of introducing themselves. Say to call 1-888-333-9801 which is a timeshare company
These people have my name and cell phone number. They have a variety of reasons to call such as that I had "..won some great prizes based on a card filled out at a fair, mall or home show".
I don't fill out cards for drawings, nor do I shop or attend any of the above places. I wonder where they got my information! The other number they call from is 253-333-1371
Been receiving multiple calls from this number every night at around 8pm Pacific time. I've previously requested that they put me on their company's do not call list about 1 year ago, and this is happening again. Here's a transcript of the voicemail recently left on my phone:
"Hi Andrew, this is Barbara with GCM, this message is in regards to... an entry form you filled out maybe at a mall a fair or..( sudden click, audible interruption) Hi this is Barbara continuing with our toll free number, you had en-entered a drawing of ours, we drew your name out for some gifts, the toll free number to claim them is 1-888-333-9801 extension 714, we're not trying to sell you anything, this is how we advertise. They're there now till 9pm Pacific time, congratulations again, you had entered this sometime this past year, at a mall, a fair or a home show, so congratulations again and enjoy your gifts."
The woman's voice sounded like she was struggling/ or dehydrated and in need a drink of fresh water. I honestly hope her employer isn't denying her of a bathroom break or making threats about some sort of call center metric. She truly sounded tortured.
