I got a call from someone (John Roswell) 1 917 200 9423 informing me that I had been recently reviewed to receive a Free Government Grant.According to this caller statement," I was a model Tax Payer U.S.citizen, with No criminal Record," and that all I needed to do was call the phone number 253 336 4688 and give them a Confirmation number # WG 1014 I was asked to call the Above Phone number of 253 336 4688. I always dial a (1) first, and then area code, followed by remainder of the number.The caller than asked me to read back the phone number he had given me I was asked not to dial (1) prior to dialing the phone number... which I found very unusual and due that reason I decided to check out the number to find out if possibly this call was in fact a Scam.
