I just received a phone call from 253-336-5321 claiming that I have to call this number 262-417-5822, claiming that they are the IRS. I know this is a scam. This is the second time I received this call and when I called back, it says, the call can't be completed. It seems like it is an overseas caller. BEWARE!
Received a call on my cell phone. Was an automated call claiming to be from the IRS and this was my last chance to pay as they were suing me. Told me to call 253-336-5321 but caller ID was 260-447-5722. I had to laugh, you can tell it's a scam.
We received the same call saying they were filing a lawsuit against me. They
asked me to cal 253-336-5321. They were calling from 262-497-4822. I will report them to the
IRS
On January 26th 2015 received a voice message from 265-437-5522 and the call came in as 'Name unavailable'. It was a message with a female voice saying 'this is my final notice that the IRS is going to file a lawsuit to collect past due taxes and to return this call by calling 253-336-5321'.
This scam has been in the news as well as the IRS making an announcement on this. It is a scam. Please, before you get nervous, call the IRS directly if you feel you have a tax issue.
