I just got the same call. she asked my age told her if she was from the govt she would know it. Then asked if S or M told her govt knows that also. She then said, ok you dont want the grant money, you are wasting my time and hung up on me. there were alot of people in the background.
Just received a call from the above number. He said I was chosen to receive $9200 in a grant from the government. He gave me a money approval number and also a callback number. He asked my age and if I was married and also if I was employed. He said I could receive the money in three ways. I could get cash, thru my bank account, or credit card. Knowing this was a scam, I told him I would like cash and ask how I was able to get cash. He told me I would get it through Western Union. Immediately I told him if the government was going to give me money they would not send it through Western Union. I told him I knew this was a scam and I was going to report him.
