I like that idea and I also like the idea of just laying the phone down and let them hang for awhile-in about 1 minute, you hear the dial tone. Sometimes you hear "hello,hello" in that case, get yourself a kids whistle and blow it as hard as you can right into the mouthpiece. Gives you a little satisfaction for your trouble
I continue to receive calls from this about a security system I have asked to be put on the do not call list but to no avail. I have tried to talk to a real person only to be hung up on; very professional...right. What can be done to stop this annoyance. I am on the Do Not Call list, but apparently this is not working as well. What good it it????

This is a robo call from an alarm/security company in Tacoma, WA. They do start out with "the FBI and local police warn......" Bottom line is they want to put a sign on your lawn (advertising) and they will install a "free" alarm in your home. HA! THAT'LL BE THE DAY I LET THEM IN MY HOME. My home is already fully protected with an alarm system. I did answer the call after tons of hangups just to get to the area where you can decline. Supposedly that places you on their no call list. We'll see.
