No message left, but I have a good guess. I got behind on my mortgage and requested a loan modification from my lender. I was approved and have begun making payments under the new arrangement. But, it appears my lender sold my phone number to every law firm under the sun. About once every dozen calls (all from different phone numbers, of course), someone actually leaves a message urging me to call them so they can get a loan modification for me. I'm guessing this number was another one of those firms.
I long ago gave up reporting spam calls to the Do Not Call list. The Do Not Call list is a complete joke. Complaints are never followed up on and no one ever gets punished for violating it, which makes it just like every other government agency - completely useless.
Such a shame that the government and companies you do business with are so flippant and uncaring about protecting customers' information.

This is supposedly a company asking you to install GE wireless home security system for free in exchange for putting their sign in your yard for advertising purposes.
