You did the right thing. Never give anyone any financial information over the phone or e-mail. They try to cold-call people and scare them into paying them something or giving them CC and debit card numbers and Gawd knows what else. I'd have told him to get lost quicktime.

The say its a company called 'Resolve' - no message left - i did answer at one time not paying attention and the guy said medical bills in collection- i begain to explain my situation and my insurance stuff, he said yeah we got all that, i said well im disabled and not recieving benefits yet, he wanted my card info, over the phone and stated it was about 600 that could be broken up in monthly withdrawals of a 57 to automatically out of my acct. I stated, no papers, no contrats, no judgements for collections.
