Read FDPCA. All companies have subsidiary under the corporation. As long as they are license they can give their business name not the corporation. The are not violating any laws.
Last year (and we will be taking them to small claims court for their illegal BS) we contacted a local veterinarian after our dog was viciously attacked, on our front porch by two pitbulls. I asked how much it would cost to take a look and see if he needed any medical attention. I was told, "Don't worry about it, just bring him in and we'll get him fixed up". Well, my husband and son took him in and again, asked if there would be a charge for them taking a look at him, cause we didn't know if there was anything surgically necessary. Of course, they wanted to open him up and do EXPLORITORY surgery. He called me and I said absolutely NOT...the poor dog isn't going to be put through that kind of pain. Well their "OPEN ENDED" estimate was horrific, not to mention, "OPEN ENDED"! So God knows how much it would have cost in the end, not to mention the torment and pain on our puppy. We went to another vet about 2 miles down the road, they cleaned him up, repaired his wounds, put in drains on his wounds and it was a fraction of the estimate the other greedy bast**ds wanted.
There was no bill, no agreement to pay a bill and no service for our dog. They turned us into collection for $50 and we are now getting phone calls from NW Collections for us to call them! We don't owe it, won't pay it and will be going to court for it. They called from 253-572-8605 and asked us to return their call at 253-572-5263. Both numbers are NW Collections!!!!!!!!
