I got a call from this number at 8.45 am. The voice with Indian accent. Claimed that she was IRS representative and accused me of a fraud! When I asked for explanations she couldn't give me any but was trying to threaten me - said something about the arrest warrant. It sounded so weird that I immediately realized it was a scam. Outrageous ! Wish something could be done so they stop calling people.
I got several calls from this number yesterday. Each time they listened to the answering message then hung up. I had googled the number and saw that it was for a tobacco shop in Washington state. Around 6:30, they called again. I answered it. It was another of those IRS scams! A heavy foreign voice told me that he was calling from the IRS and what was the name of my attorney. I laughed at him and told him that I knew he was a scammer, that we owed no money to anyone, that I was turning in the number to the local authorities as well as the IRS. I told him to stop calling this number. In the background I could hear other voices, as if it was some type of call center.
The IRS has information on its website about pervasive phone scams this year. Beware.
got a call from this number. answered it, a man w/ a heavy foreign voice claimed he was from legal dept of IRS. asked me to hold for his supervisor. I played along until I couldn't stand the hold music any longer - it sounds like an ice cream truck. I hung up, they called again. and again. and again. and again. I answered again, he wanted me to write this number down and to call it back. I asked why, he said he is w/ the legal dept of the IRS, kept repeating that. Such a fraud. and I told him as such and to never call this number again. I hung up. google shows this number belonging to Innovape Shop in Washington, but that could be a fake site as their facebook page gives a different number.

Received the call from them. Clearly was a scam. Don't even bother to call IRS ( unless you actually have a problems:).
He introduced him self as a Richer Parker and 5 minutes later when I asked him to repeat his name - hi became a Brian Taylor.
If you pissed like myself - the form on IRS web site is 3949A ( to file a complain).
