received calls with unavailable name from number 253-620-0992.. a voice message was left, in automated voice, claiming to be from IRS and threatening to file a lawsuit if phone call is not returned. I called number , using unavailable feature, a guy with heavy accent answered, said he couldn't hear me and told me to call back.. I could here a lot of voices in background similar sounding situation by those claiming to be with Microsoft who called frequently saying my computer was infected with a virus and wanted access to it to repair it. I've called back several times, unavailable, but no answer.. after 20+ rings a recorded message from ATT stated the Wireless customer you are calling is unavailable and try call again later. That number is obviously not with the IRS ! Foreign Scammers trying to get money from Americans.

This is a different number but I have recieved this call before. They say that you have to pay a penalty so there isn't a warrant issued for your arrest. However, they have no information until you give it to them other than your name and phone number. SCAM
I CALLED THE FBI, THEY TOLD ME TO GO TO TIGTA.GOV AND REPORT THIS IRS SCAM. PLEASE DO SO IF YOU ARE ALSO RECEIVING THESE PHONE CALLS.
THIS IS AN IRS SCAM!! This is the 5th time today they have called me. Heavy accent, heavy scare tactics. Claiming the IRS has sent police officers with a warrant to my house because I am under investigation. That my children will be taken away(I don't have children) They wanted my SSN and FULL NAME. When I called the number back it continued to ring for at least 10 minutes before I hung up.
