The same thing just happened to me. The foreign male caller (could barely understand his English) told me that my windows computer was running slowly (we don't have windows so I immediately knew this was a scam) and that I needed to go on and he would walk me through everything. I pretended to do this while asking questions about his "company", all the while writing down what he was saying. He told me to go to start menu, windows, and then My Computer. He asked what I saw when I was on my computer and I said "Oh, we'll I'm actually not on my computer, I've been writing down everything you're saying so I can report you as a scam." I figured taking an aggressive approach would scare him off. WRONG. To that he replied, "Report me? I will f*ck you. I will f*ck you." as if he was whispering in the phone. I said "Excuse me? How dare you." he repeated it and I hung up immediately.
He said his company was PC Wizard...I've googled that and it's definitely a scam but I have yet to find other reports from this number. Scary stuff.
The person calling is from another country and he told me he was looking for someone with a certain name, and told me that named person had called him 10 days ago for help with a computer. I told him he was a liar because my husband is our computer tech and we would never call for PC Help.. he then threatened me that he knew where I lived, and I had better be careful. I have recieved calls from this man before and he told my husband disgudting things about me. we did keep him on the phone for some time and just toyed with him and he kept trying to spin his lies.. he then got mad at him and hung up on me.
