Beware! I got an email for an add that I placed on a local online sales site.
this number is not local & the email sounded reall fishy...
Here is what it said:
Good day To You. Complement of the day. I'm writing regarding your placed ad on "Southeasttexas ",as i will like you to e-mail me the full details and the present condition with current photo if available, More so please do get back to me with your final asking price and also let me know if you still have it available for sale. Thanks and hoping to read from you soon

I have a computer repair web site and I also post ads on my local Craigs List site. I got the below email in response to my ad and it contained 253-736-0191. I have heard of this scam. Works something like this. You tell them how much you will charge for your services. They send you a check (rubber check) that is larger than the amount you quoted them. They then tell you they need you to do to a Western Union office and wire them back the difference.
