From US Grant department, Washington DC. Said I was identified as recipient of Grant $7500. I was said to have had no bankruptcy no criminal record. I was to call back 253-777-3360 and speak to manager. Gave AG117 confirmation ID Grant Money number. Money is arranged as Western Union check. I did Google search and discovered the scam nature of call.
I received a call from a 004141 number claiming that I had received a $7500 grant from the federal government. The caller than proceeded to verify my mailing address, asking me for my account information which I did not give.Then he gave me ID, also giving me the 253-777-3360 number. I called the number a half hour later, a man answered the phone, giving me the same spiel and directing me to another call where a woman picked up, said hello and then
the line went dead.
