Got several calls in a row from 25-382-0308. The man said he's from Windows Computer and that there's a problem with my windows computer that needs to be fixed.
Received a call at 8:40 this morning and one yesterday. Both hangups.
Caller ID was v0908084405001, phone # was 25-382-0308, not enough digits for a phone #. Looked my records at my phone carrier and the phone # was (253) 820-3080 Tacoma, WA.
If you search 25-382-0308, comments are that it is one of the Windows virus scams where they try to gain access to your pc and sell you software to "fix" it.
i just got the same call saying was from microsoft there is lots of problems with my computer...i ask for a number to call them back did not want to give him any info he gave me 718-618-1249 ask me to ask for jerry martin...number one they call my parents house I have no computers reg. at the number ??????? iS THIS A SCAM OR DO YOU KNOW ?? Im going to contact Microsoft ...
253-820-3080 is my personal cell phone. I get 10-20 calls a day saying that i have called them and either hung up or tried to do something with their computer. I can guarantee that the caller id is being spoofed an the person is trying to scam those called.
