I've gotten a lot of calls in the last couple months from local numbers, no name on the caller ID, but missed them or didn't answer. I assumed many might be people calling the wrong number, but today I answered this call. It came in at 10:11am and caller ID just showed "Puyallup WA".
As soon as I said hello, a recording came on saying "This is John..." wanting to "confirm" my order for some medical alert equipment....
Obvious scam, I hung up and immediately blocked the number.
Now I am assuming most, if not all, of the "local" numbers that have called lately are just scammers also.
