I received a call from this number today, but I was not home and all that I have is the caller id that indicates it Premier Delivery. I looked online to see that other folks have received calls from this number. I do not call back any number I do not recognize. It is my understanding that these telemarketers are tricking you into calling their number. Once you have called them, the "Do Not Call" restrictions do not apply to you. So do not call them back. That same trick applies if they leave a door hanger or notice on your door with only a number to call. Again this is a trick to get to call them and then they will call you repeatedly.
2 rings and then a hang up, so obviously some sort of scammer. Have been getting daily calls from a variety of numbers, that are all "supposed" to be located in Washington state. Once I block one number, then another number calls through instead. ALWAYS, the calls are hang up calls. This is the first call in the series that has some sort of caller ID, but still,if the number was an actual legal business, it seems likely that an internet search would yield some information about the number. ALL of the numbers that call through on a daily basis, have zero information about them listed, when I do an internet search. We get lots of scam calls, and this must be the latest and greatest weird method for running a scam. Like duh ... am going to answer the phone some day, and offer to donate, or purchase whatever they are pretending to be selling!
