The company is a customer services company hire to contact and accept calls. No scam because they do not charge and fees they don't have a product for sell. In this case they are strictly notifying you and explaining why they are being contacted. I hope this helps.
Direct Contact. "Someone" entered me in a contest to win a Ford Exploder and I won 1 of their top prizes! Timothy assured me he wasn't a telemarketer, time share or cold call.
Call up your friends & relatives and see if they have entered you in this contest by chance. A lot of crooks/scammers will call & say this but will tell you that you have to pay a fee. You don't pay a fee if you win to get the prize, but what you do pay & that is for you to do, & that is you will have to pay taxes on the Ford Explorer is you really did win it. Get as much information from this person as you can. Ask for his/her name & ask for their Identification number & ask for their name . If they are hesitant to give you any of these as identification info, especially an identification number, then it is most likely not real & someone is trying to steal your identity by getting more information from you. Be very careful about any information you give out to these people, if it is a scam, you have a lot to lose & they are the ones who win, not you. Also you can search the Internet about what type of contest are being done with drawings that are set up in the malls, stores etc.
