Judging from all the preceding comments it looks like this number has robo-called a lot of businesses today.
Since getting a full featured voip system for incoming calls we can now put this number in a block list that forwards to a Not In Service Recording.
The number of spam calls wasting time for our staff has dropped dramatically since we started doing this. Our staff do not have the phone ring, the callers think our number is not in service so they start pulling it from their lists.
As a business owner, it is beyond aggravating to watch our staff put a paying customer on hold, even for a moment, to answer another line, and the other call turns out to be this garbage. Any companies that market in this manner never receive a penny of business from us. We closed our business account with google over this, it just was not worth the constant calls.
I wouldn't blame Google for these calls. Our company has NEVER had any account with Google but it doesn't stop scam artists from trying to convince us otherwise.
These scamming idiots called our business line at 1824 hours on 12/17/14, well after we were closed. Our recorder picked up and ended up snagging their mindless, computer-voiced robo-recording in the middle of the spiel. As others report, it is the usual Google-based scam targeting businesses.
Answer, speak immediately so the computer will transfer to a live person. Then have fun with it, tell them you are so interested, but keep saying you are doing things, like answering doorbell, getting pen and paper, getting credit card.
The more you can waste that live person's time (and wages) will get you off call lists faster than any "do not call" list. I do this, and they never call again, and I have rarely been getting new calls.
