I get thirty plus phones calls a day from these idiots. When I called back to tell them to take me off whatever call list they had me on they asked if I was interested in a loan. When j said no they hang up. I kept calling asking to speak to a manager since they claim to be ge capital money and the same guy came back on the phone saying he was the manager and then used explicit sexual comments and hung up. I have reported to local cops and attorney General.and unfornately had to change my number.
They called me today. I called them back. They said it was a loan I applied for. The guy had a heavy Indian accent. I told him I never applied for a loan and he hung up. I swear they need to stop calling
They left a message saying that our loan has been approved and $5,000 will be put into our account if we call them. Our phone rings once or twice every day. Don't know if this is another nuisance call or the same caller. We are on a no call list. They should be finned big time.
Modern technology has given telescammers the tools to call you.
Since those telescammers are criminals, they ignore both the Do Not Call list and any request you might make.
Modern technology can also protect you, if YOU do a few simple things!
The most effective thing to do is to get a call blocking device, service or app.
Then, use it correctly.
Google "call blocker" for more information, or visit Amazon or similar sales site.
If you cannot use or afford to buy such a tool, then:
• Do not answer calls from unknown numbers ... let them go to voicemail or answering service
• Do NOT return calls from unknown numbers! All that does is verify your phone number! And, in some cases, those return calls may cost $20 or more to complete.
• If you have a "dumb" cell phone, assign the scammer's number to a group named "scam" (or similar). Then, assign a silent ringtone to that group.
• Another option, for both smart and "dumb" cell phones: Assign a "silent ringtone" as DEFAULT. Then, assign your favorite ringtones to all known friends / family / business numbers. That way, you will hear rings ONLY from those you wish to contact! You will not hear scammers' rings, even if they change their number! (This is also called "whitelisting").

Called several times in one day telling me my loan was approved and $5000 would be deposited into my bank account but I had to call to verify my info. When I called they asked me if I was Debbie..I said no and could I talk to someone in authority they hung up. Guy that answered had heavy Indian accent.
