this caller rang our home this morning

for personal reasons concerning my wife's recent health issues I thought it was a call from a healthcare provider requesting to speak with her so I answered the caller

this was a cold call - live caller - from a company with a description of services you will recognize:
This is EMSI "calling on behalf of Blue Cross-Blue Shield offering (wife by name) a free in home medical examination and review of her medications and the offer of a fifty dollar ($50) gift card  for her inconvenience..."

the fact that they called at 8:35am -  all other nuisance/gotcha callers wait until after 9am - was also why I answered the call and infuriates me all the more ..

so be warned, guys (and gals) and question every call you don't recognize..
