Got a call from this number, answered and it was a recording stating it was the IRS and my final notice before they filed a lawsuit against me. Wtf???? It hung up itself and I called the number right back and it was a landline and a woman answers and says she never called my number. Very confused I called the IRS and they have no record of the phone call. Some sort of weird scam. Beware.
Hi.. I would like you to know that I am the women that answered when you (one of many that have called bc of this) called. I have reported my numberto the phone company and it is being changed. Hopefully this will stop the problem. Just like yall I am tired of receiving calls from people lol
I also received a call from this number (located in Texas) - it was a relatively poor recording stating that it was the IRS about to file a lawsuit against me. However, the number that they directed me to IS in Washington DC, but the 202 number is an Internet phone number ...... I am pretty sure the IRS uses a regular land line ... not a VoIP line.
Also ;this is the 4th or 5th such call I received over the last year. I reported the 1st call to the IRS, and they reported back that it was a big scam.
