yup, ditto here in portland.  saw something on craigslist for 1600.  researched it online and it was with rental agencies for 2300.  verbatim emails to me as listed above.  the english in the email was definitely broken but his text were very clear and concise.  total bummer - should've known that if something seems too good to be true it probably is.

Following up. The email address was [email protected]. I got a follow up call from this number: +00661262601

I answered and before I could finish my sentence that called him out and let him know that I knew he was a scammer he hung up:

Yes this guy just posted on Portland Craigslist today. I ran the phone number and email info he had in the post and it brought me to this website. Thanks for posting your experience with this scumbag.

I just spoke with this [***], trying to rent a house in Pacific Beach, He is going by the Name Ryan Servatius, says he is a marine, and just moved out 4 days ago.  Totally BS. Said he would review and get back to me with a lease! Do not rent from him.
