My phone rang around 8:50 a.m. on November 24, 2014 and my answering machine picked up the call. My Caller ID said it was a "Cellular Call" and the number it showed was 254-301-5730. When i played back the recording, it was a robo call claiming to be the third call from "the IRS, Internal Revenue Services," saying the reason for the call was to inform me that lawsuits are being filed against me and if I wanted more information about the case, I should call "06-866-5733" It repeated the phone number, but both times, it cut off the first digit of the area code. I have not tried to call them back at either number. In addition, my income tax returns have been prepared by my accountant since 2008 and I have not owed the government any taxes or received refunds because I am disabled and make too little money to owe any further taxes. Taxes are automatically withheld from my monthly Social Security payments.
