It sent me a text from one number saying my credit card had been deactivated, and when I tried calling the number it rang twice then went to voicemail. Scam!
Received a text (fraudulent) about my card being deactivated and to please contact 254-304-3360. Called from a landline and it stated, "Welcome to VA Federal Credit Union card activation line. Please enter your 16 digit card number." I entered 16 zeroes and it disconnected. Definitely a scam
Received a text message from VAROCU stating that my VISA was deactivated and that I must contact them immediately. Googled VAROCU and got the following ALERT.
"ALERT - Please be aware that text messages are being sent to call a number regarding your account or MasterCard or Visa debit card. These messages are not from VAROFCU and we will not attempt to contact you in this manner. Please do not respond to these messages. "
