Now this one really makes me mad because this person called telling me that they were calling on behalf of the TX County Sheriff's Assoc. and were wanting me to pledge money so that the county Sheriffs could get some money to improve whatever. People have been warned about this hoax and I personally fell for it years ago. Could not get rid of them; they even threatened to take me to court. Our county sheriff at that time had to place a notification in our local papers to advice everyone that if they got this call that it was not true. Heads up folks; I'm sure it is going on in your state too.
