When this number called in, I picked up the phone and said nothing. After several seconds, they hung up without saying anything. I called back and got the message that this number was disconnected.
On 2/12/17 11:23am caller ID showed Breckinridge, TX I did not answer since I didn't recognize the # and have gotten calls from there before & suspected scam of some type. Obviously I don't know for sure; but every time I have answered in the past it has been a scam or also I suspect it could be someone just making lists of valid phone #s to re-sell or pass on to telemarketers
They called me and it was obviously a recording trying to sound like a live person - she said her name was Christine Brankowski and she was calling on behalf of the Women's Breast Cancer Relief Association somewhere in Florida. I asked her the organization again - she repeated it. Then I asked who the president is of that company. She said she was calling from a different organization that was hired by that foundation. I asked again - who is the president and she hung up. So I called the number back - the recording went on again. I said - hm that's funny. I just asked you a question and you hung up on me. She said sorry and then started to go into her script again. I said I want my question answered don't you remember it. She said no. I said you must have something wrong with your brain. She said I'm sorry. I then told her to take my number off her list. According to an online report this organization only gives 2.2% to direct aid for their so called benefactors. The rest goes to solicitation and administration. Do yourself a favor and don't answer. I am going to report to the FCC.
