I work at a Credit Union in Waco and a member called in stating they were called by this number 2545239088 and the women on the phone already had her account# and new who she had an account with. The women also said that her account number appeared online and that she needed her routing nuber and next check number to apply a Senior Citizen Block. This is a scam, I told the member this and they had to come into the office to open a new account.
August 19th, 2008: Yep...they also called me at my home in Waco, Texas (254 is the Area Code for Waco and surrounding areas) and a girl asked my mom for me by my first name. By the time I got to the phone, she had hung up. Weird! Caller ID said "Intl. Number"
MYSTERY SOLVED! They called me again on 8-25-08 at my home number in Waco, Texas and it was a guy "claiming" to be in Las Vegas (I am pretty sure it was one of those online Sportsbooks/Casinos)...he was wanting me to place
