I received the same call and message, different docket number. It's stated as a case in San Diego county for check fraud....(definitely NOT something I've ever done) they also have my social security number and email address. They mentioned that if I was willing to pay the amount ($1700) they would seal/close the case.
I'm probably screwed because all my personal info has been hacked by these people. If anyone else has received a call like this, please advice on your experience!!!!
Received a call from a case investigator Brown, who said a complaint was filled under my name (which she said first and last and my birthday). She then said I have to call 844-502-7095 prior to her visiting me at my residence and job listed. She then referenced a pre-trial docket number 14071. She ended the call by saying I have been notified.
