I got a call from a 254-719-1911506 on my cell phone I am not sure what it is cause all that comes up when I google is 254-719-1911 so what the hell does the 506 mean is some one trying to hack my phone line? I need help with this
No one is hacking in to anything. The CNUM is spoofed. In other words, it is a nonsense faked phone number.
This is easily done with some phone services, most commonly VOIP. When you configure your service, you can put pretty much whatever you want as the outbound phone number.
There is a legitimate need for this feature. Hospitals, hotels, and businesses use it all of the time, so that calls always show the main number for the institution, instead of the line someone happened to call out on. Unfortunately, creeps and crooks also use it.
Best advice is to ignore such calls, as it is inevitably some sort of liar, cheat, or crook on the other end.
