I received a call from this number who also gave her name as Angie and she was talking so fast, I started asking questions and she was very abrupt about answering. I asked for a number to call her back and she gave me a 888 number. I asked what company she was with and she told me she was with the IRS!!
She stated I owed something from 1999-2000 from a bank I have never done business with. I explained that to her and she pretty much called me a liar and told me good luck. She said I obviously did not want to pay this bill and they would report it on a 1099C to the IRS. She was way to fast a talker. Sounds like a scam...
who is this company? it was my cell phone they called. i have had this number only 2 days. how the hell did they get my number so quick? i think the phone company is selling them to telemarketing

I received a phone call today from this numer and they wanted payment from something that was taken care of years ago. The guy was very rude and started cursing me telling me I need to pay this debt which I do not owe.
I received a call from this number. They left a message. It's a collection agency. Calling for a Brian Johnson or Jackson or someone, this guy keeps giving my number out as his. Anyway, the lady was short, sounded like she was busy, but she was professional and courteous. I offered to have my cell provider call her to corroborate the owner of the cell phone not being the person she's looking for. She said there's no need and updated the account to list mine as a wrong number. I thought it was a reasonably pleasant experience, aside from the joker that's been having friends and family and bill collectors and everyone else under the sun call me asking for him.
