My cell phone had a missed call. But the phone didn't ring (it was right by me). I'm guessing the person called and then hung up. I called the number back. Received message that I had visit some website and won an award gift. Had the option of claiming the gift (press #1) or being placed on their do not call list (press #2). I pressed #2.
According to the above website, this phone number belongs to Carol Byrd, 279 County Road 627, Mentone, Alabama. I received a call from this number at 9:27 AM, Friday, December 19, 2014. I did not answer the phone, and no voicemail was left.
Got the same call from same number as everyone else. The "256" area code was one I'd seen before as a telemarketer kind of number, so I blocked it on my phone. But they just keep coming up with new numbers. Carol Byrd from Alabama is what it comes up to (same as poster above).
