They told me that Verizon had turned me over for collection and that they had my account information and could take all my money out of my account if they wanted, but it was illegal, so they wouldn't. They were even able to give the last four of my checking account number. I called Verizon and they hadn't turned me over for collection. They had no reason to. This is a scam.
THEY CALL YOU, PLAY MUSIC, AND ASK YOU TO HOLD, THEN YOU CALL BACK AND ARE PUT ON HOLD AND THEN A LADY COMES ON SAYING VERIZON WIRELESS. If you try to ask any information you are hung up on. THIS IS A SCAM, THIS IS NOT VERIZON WIRELESS. THEY USE DIFFERENT NUMBERS TO CALL YOU. THE SAME LADY HAS CALLED ME FROM 3 SEPERATE NUMBERS. 2 phone numbers Caller ID said Uknown, and the third said Corr Wireless.

I have been getting calls from the same phone number 256-270-0889 on my work phone. There is never anyone there when I answer but it is getting annoying :)
